1) Prestressed Components

1.1) Features: the prestressed system consists of 54 or 55 steel strands, 15,7mm diameter as per PrEN10138-3, strength grade of 1860 MPa, 2 anchors devices (one at each end), cement grouting, two permanent caps for each anchor.

The tendon must be able to match with a 55 strands chains if:

1. It is necessary to add more prestressesed into specific parts of containment (e. g. around batch holes)

2. Broken wire frame or unsatisfactory elongation on the tendon

1.2) Features of the Presstressed System:

Nominal diameter: 15.7mm

Cross-sectional area: 150mm² + / -2%

Spacing: 220 to 283mm

Typical tensile strength: 1,860 N / mm²

Guaranteed maximum tensile strength: 279 kN

Maximum breakthrough load: 319 kN

Characteristic value 0.1% proof load: 248 kN

Minimum elongation at maximum load: 3,5%

70% at 20 ℃, maximum relaxation rate of 1000 hrs: 2,5%

Modules of elasticity: 195 + / -10 kn / mm²

The specific verification requirements are:

The guaranteed maximum tensile strength of 70% at 40℃,

The maximum relaxation rate of 1000 hrs: 3%

Deflection tensile drag: d. (max.) =28

Test tendon after the thread: 55tendon/15,7mm
